Chiropractic
Illustrative scenario
Recurring treatment, the same patients every week, and no administrator to hand anything to.
This is a worked example, not a customer story. LogBlues is new and we have no clinics to quote yet, so inventing one would be the wrong way to start. Everything described here is something the software does today; the clinic is imagined.
Setup
The profile is Chiropractic: recurring treatment, body-area notes and progress tracking. Modules that would only add noise stay switched off, and can be turned on later without a migration.
The rhythm
This is care that does not fit in a single encounter. A course of treatment runs for months, and the useful question is not what happened today but whether the patient is better than in March.
The admin
A solo practice has no billing department, so coding is the tax that gets paid in evenings. The searchable procedure reference puts CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, modifiers and revenue codes in one search box, which removes the tab-switching and the phone call to ask.
Invoices sit with the care that produced them. Outstanding balances roll up to the dashboard, so the first screen each morning answers what is owed without a spreadsheet.
