Surgery and procedure centers
Illustrative scenario
Consultation, consent, equipment, sterile supplies, the procedure itself and post-operative care all have to arrive in the right order.
This is a worked example, not a customer story. LogBlues is new and we have no clinics to quote yet, so inventing one would be the wrong way to start. Everything described here is something the software does today; the clinic is imagined.
Setup
The practice chooses Surgical practice or Ambulatory and procedure center. The first follows consultations and postoperative care; the second brings room operations, equipment and sterile inventory further forward.
The work
Two clocks
The patient follows a clinical sequence. The room follows a readiness sequence. Both meet at the procedure and both can stop it.
Cases, tasks, equipment dates and inventory let the practice see those clocks without forcing them into one checklist.
