Tasks

Nothing falls through on a Friday

Work that needs doing becomes a task with an owner, a due date, and an urgency that means something.

One line each.

A task shows the work, the patient, when it was created, and when it is due. That is the whole row. You should not have to expand a card to find out what you are supposed to do.

  • Urgency that is honest. Critical, Important, or routine, so a bell that rings actually means something.
  • Done stays visible. Completed work remains on the list, crossed off, until you archive the lot in one press.
  • Undo. Cleared a notification you needed? Put it back.
  • Assigned from anywhere. Closing a visit can create the follow-up task in the same step.

A bell worth looking at.

Notifications are one line, ranked by urgency, and cover tasks, schedule changes, security codes and clinic announcements. Clear one, clear all, or put one back.

The goal is a notification list short enough that people read it, rather than a badge everyone learns to ignore.
