For therapists
The practice software that never reads your notes.
Solo practices and small groups
Your session notes are the most private paragraphs a clinic ever writes. LogBlues keeps them on your own computer, drafts them with an assistant that runs in the room, and costs less than the tools that send them away.
The price
$50 a month. The assistant is included. So are your claims.
One therapist pays $50. A group of up to five pays $100, and the front desk is never counted. Blues, the assistant, comes with every plan. The first 10 to 50 insurance claims each month are free, then 50 cents each.
The tools built for therapists charge for the same things one by one. Sessions Health is $39 a therapist, then $35 more for the AI and $10 more for telehealth. SimplePractice is $49 to $99 a therapist, then $35 more for the AI note-taker, and $74 for every therapist you add.
| LogBlues | Sessions Health | SimplePractice | |
|---|---|---|---|
| One therapist, with the AI | $50 | $74 | $84 to $134 |
| Three therapists, with the AI | $100 | $202 | $352 |
| Five therapists, with the AI | $100 | $330 | $570 |
| Insurance claims | 10 to 50 free a month, then 50¢ | 19¢ to 25¢ each | 39¢ each from October |

Confidentiality
Your notes stay in the room.
Every other product on that table keeps your records in its own cloud. LogBlues keeps them on the computer in your office, encrypted, with an encrypted backup you control. Nobody at LogBlues can read a session note. There is no account on our side that holds one.
- Protected documents ask again. Opening a protected note sends a one-time code to that therapist’s own email. It expires in ten minutes, and the unlock ends at sign-out.
- Roles decide who sees what. The person who books appointments does not see clinical notes. Ten roles across sixteen permission domains, and an administrator can subtract further for any one person.
- Every unlock and every export is logged on the Security screen, with who and when.
- HIPAA-ready from day one, with a Business Associate Agreement for the cloud backup.
Blues
An assistant that drafts the note without sending it anywhere.
Most clinical AI works by uploading the text to someone else’s server. Blues runs on the machine in the room. It listens, it types, it drafts, and the words never leave the building.
- Dictate and Blues types it, then does what you asked: opens the appointment draft, the task, the message.
- Transcribe a session with a client’s consent, and when you stop, Blues writes the visit note for you to review before it saves.
- Paste a client’s email and Blues drafts the reply for you to send from your own mailbox.
- It asks before it writes. Nothing saves without your review, and Blues cannot read anything the person using it could not read.
- It answers in English or Spanish, whichever you spoke.
The week
Built for a caseload, not a waiting room.
- Recurring appointments for the client who comes every Tuesday at four, without rebuilding the week.
- A case holds the course of care, so six months of progress reads as one thread instead of thirty separate notes.
- Session notes stay attached and stay editable, with the therapist recorded, and a draft is never lost: the app saves as you go.
- Care plans record what was agreed and what stage it is at.
- A note without a visit for the between-session phone call, which in this work is frequent and rarely written down anywhere.
- Intake and consent forms on paper or on screen, and a message ready to copy into whatever you already use to reach clients.
- Claims built and checked in the app, and the payer’s answer read back to you in plain words.
Spanish
The whole screen in Spanish, not just a client portal.
A bilingual practice switches the entire workspace, every printed form and Blues itself into Spanish with one click. The tools built for therapists translate a client-facing page at most. Here the therapist works in Spanish too.
Switching
Bring your clients and your calendar with you.
Export your clients as a spreadsheet and your calendar as an .ics file from whatever you use today, then import both from the Getting Started checklist. Clinical columns land marked for your review, never silently trusted. The whole move is an afternoon, and the first two months cost nothing while you decide.
