Know where every patient is, room by room.

Name your rooms once.

Open Settings › Owner & Admin Tools › Patient flow and type the rooms you have. The Waiting room is always there; you never add it. Until you name a room, check-in asks for no room and the dashboard card keeps its one-line count.

• A name is enough. Exam 1, Procedure, X-ray, whatever you call them. An empty list offers three exam rooms in one tap to start from.
• A number and a floor, if you have them. Each room can carry the number on its door and the floor it sits on. The floor can be a number or a word, so “2” reads as Floor 2 and “Ground” stays Ground.
• One label everywhere. A room with details shows as “Exam 1 · 204 · Floor 2” on the check-in picker, on the dashboard card and on the report, so a room reads the same wherever it is picked.
• Removing a room is safe. Anyone in it goes back to waiting. Nothing is lost.

Build your clinic by dragging.

Under the room list sits the builder: sample rooms on one side, your clinic on the other. The samples match the specialty you picked at setup. There is a list for each of the specialties LogBlues ships, plus a general list. A dental clinic sees operatories, hygiene rooms, X-ray and sterilization; a dermatology clinic sees exam rooms, procedure, phototherapy and laser; an urgent care sees triage, exam rooms, procedure, X-ray and lab.

• Drag a room in, or tap its plus. Nothing is added until you drop it in. A room you already have sits dimmed with a check.
• No duplicates. Drop a name you already have and it takes the next free number: an Exam 3 beside your Exam 3 lands as Exam 4.
• Your clinic, in order. Reorder rooms by their handle. Once any room has a floor, the list groups under its floors, numbered floors first.
• Who is in it, right now. Each room on the clinic side shows the patient in it, or Empty. Tap a room to rename it or change its number and floor.

The day, stage by stage.

LogBlues stamps what the clinic already does. Nobody clicks a status.

• They arrive. Check-in puts the patient in the waiting room, or straight into the room the desk picks from the Room list on the check-in screen. Left on Waiting room, the patient waits.
• They are roomed. The Patient flow card on the dashboard has one row per person in the building, with the room or the wait and the minutes so far. A nurse walks the patient back and picks the room from Move to… on their row. That is the one tap a nurse needs.
• They are seen. Typing the visit note marks them With provider.
• They leave. Completing the visit checks them out and frees the room.
• A wait that runs long stands out. At twenty minutes in the waiting room the row says Delayed. A stage older than four hours shows no minutes, because a forgotten check-in is not a wait.

Move to… also offers the waiting room, With provider and Checked out, for the days that do not go in order. Nothing routes anyone on its own; the hallway stays in your hands.

The report at the end of the day.

The Reports screen has a Patient flow section for today. One row per room, and one for the waiting room.

• Patients. How many came through that room today.
• Waited. The average minutes from arrival to a room. The number the patient feels.
• In room. The average minutes from rooming to check-out.

Reports opens for the Owner, Administrator, Office manager, Physician, Billing and Purchasing roles. Nurses and the front desk work from the dashboard card.

What it does not do.

There are no sensors, no badges and no tracking of people. LogBlues records what the desk and the nurse tap, and the times they tapped it. The stamps are stored with the rest of your records, on your own computer, like everything else in LogBlues.
