How to ask
Send us the request through the contact form, with the subject “Delete my account”, from the email address on the account. Say which clinic you belong to and which of the three things below you mean. Nothing else is needed: no password, no card, and never anything about a patient.
We confirm every request before acting on it. We reply to the email address on the account, and for anything that touches a clinic’s data we also confirm with the clinic’s owner. A request from any other address, or one we cannot confirm, is not acted on. We answer within two business days.
What “delete my account” can mean
In a clinic it means one of three different things, and they have different answers. Tell us which one you mean.
Your sign-in. Your sign-in is closed, it opens nothing from then on, and the tokens saved on your computer are removed. The notes, invoices and appointments you wrote stay in the chart with your name on them. A signed note cannot be unsigned, and a clinic has to keep its records for years after the person who wrote them has gone. That is the law your clinic works under, not a LogBlues policy.
Your clinic’s copy in our cloud. Only the clinic’s owner can ask for this. Every backup we hold is deleted. The workspace on your own computer is untouched: the cloud held a copy, never the original. It does not cancel the subscription.
Everything on the computer. Your records live on your own machine, so only you can erase them. Write a backup, check it opens, close LogBlues, uninstall it, then delete the workspace folder. Deleting the cloud copy is separate; ask for both if you want both gone.
Inside the app
An owner or administrator does not have to write to us. In LogBlues, open Settings, then Owner & Admin Tools, then the Danger zone at the bottom. They pick the person, we email a one-time code, and they type “delete” and that person’s name. The same screen deletes the clinic’s cloud copy.
What we keep either way
One line in the security log saying the deletion happened, when, and who asked. That line is the proof it was done. Billing records we are required to keep for tax. Nothing else.
